The new Complete System has a high quality microphone permanently attached to the "voice box" while the Pod ONLY system allows the user to change microphone headsets at will. These new voice input systems, with the newer operating systems, do not require you to install special drivers to access the computer's USB ports. This is good if you need the capability to use multiple headsets for use in different environments; quiet, noisy, etc.
The new Complete USB Microphone system is a complete, integrated speech input system and includes an advanced, noise-canceling microphone and precisely matched analog-to-digital speech converter with a Universal Serial Bus (USB) plug. This state-of-the-art input system accurately digitizes your speech and sends it directly to the computer's USB port, bypassing the computer's own sound system completely. As a result, the USB Mic assures a reliable, repeatable, high level of input fidelity with virtually all USB-equipped, Windows® 2000 and computer Operating Systems - even computers with no sound card or inadequate sound systems!
